Hot Cocoa & Cookies
Join us immediately following the service for Hot Cocoa, tea, coffee and cookies! This time of fellowship will be sure to be a wonderful addition to your Christmas Eve. A local musician will be offering some of your favorite holiday songs with a Holiday Jam Session!
About the Service
Our Christmas Eve service will offer tradition music prayers with a short message from our Pastor. Communion will be offer. Communion in the United Methodist tradition is offered to all individuals regardless of church membership. You do not have to participate in this sacrament. You may choose to remain at your seat or come forward with your arms crossed, indicating your desire for the pastor to offer a blessing.
This year marks the 200th anniversary of the Christmas tune, Silent Night. Silent Night will be sung with guitar accompaniment, during which the congregation will be invited to light their candle, filling the sanctuary with God’s light! Alternative “fake” candles will be available for children.
Feel free to contact the church office at 434-286-4736 with any additional questions
