Registration & Enrollment

Class size is limited to 13 children, with a lead teacher and an aide. This exceeds the DSS teacher: child ratio of 1:10, and aligns with the church’s Safe Sanctuaries® policy.
Tuition Rates for 2024-2025 School Year:
2 days per week – $270/month
3 days per week – $295/month
SUMPreschool operates on a 9-month schedule, which approximately follows Albemarle County Public School’s starting and ending dates, holidays, and school closings.
Preschool is in operation Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9-12.
Upon admission, each family will receive a Parent Handbook that should answer your questions about the policies and procedures of the school. Should you ever have questions about your child’s preschool experience, please feel free to request a time to talk to the teachers.
