Scottsville UMC Facility Use Information

We are happy to make our facility available to the community! Please contact the Office Administrator or Pastor regarding availability and if you have questions at office@sumc-va.org.

Fees

For outside groups and non-members, the fees for single-use events are as follows:

  • $200 for use of the Sanctuary with $18/hour for the Audio-Visual Team Fee, if needed
  • $150 for the use of the Fellowship Hall and Kitchen
  • $100 for use of the Fellowship Hall only

Refundable Cleaning Deposit

  • $100 refundable cleaning deposit paid at the time of the reservation. If the area is inspected and determined to be clean, the $100 cleaning deposit will be returned. If not adequately cleaned, the fee will be retained to pay for cleaining costs.

The balance due should be paid in full one week prior to the event.

Non-Profit Regular Events

  • There are no feeds to defray the cost of building maintenance and operation for non-profit groups who meet regularly at Scottsville UMC, but a donation to offset these costs is recommended.

For-Profit Regular Events

  • For regularly occuring for-profit groups or activities held at Scottsville UMC, the fee to defray the cost of building mainteance and operation will be negotiated between the user and the Pastor or Office Administrator.
